free song
As a new member of the Happyhead mailing list I would like you to receive a welcome gift of a free copy of Something So Simple.
This is the song I wrote for the first national Sorry Day in Australia in 1998 to acknowledge the painful past of Australian governments forcibly removing Aboriginal children from their families. It is, simply, a ceremonial apology to Indigenous Australian.
The content of the lyrics was arrived at after consultation with Indigenous and non Indigenous communities in Adelaide South Australia.
The CD was supported and released by COPE (now Relationships Australia Adelaide) in collaboration with Judith Cross and Claire Ralfs, and Jane Sloane’s Big World Communication and Marketing.
